Staffed by our experienced preschool teachers, A Child鈥檚 Place offers an extended summer of fun-filled theme-oriented camp sessions to excite young campers. We offer an entertaining and age-appropriate educational and play-based experience for children ages 2 to 6 (those entering first grade in the fall). Our camp sessions will provide opportunities to stimulate curiosity, creativity, and imagination!

Join us for days filled with storytelling, music and movement, making art, nature and craft projects. We'll experience water play, daily indoor and outdoor play, STEAM activities, cooking, play-based learning, daily exploration and investigation, and so much more!

Tiny Seeds
June 10-21

Join us for an exciting summer camp session featuring a combination of science and gardening! Each day features a new gardening experiment or play activity centered around gardening! From basics such as 鈥淲here do tomatoes come from鈥 or 鈥淗ow long does a strawberry take to grow?鈥 to more complex, 鈥淲hy do fruits only grow in the summer?鈥

Once Upon a Time
June 24-July 5

Join us for a summer camp session that explores fairy tales and the characters that make them so fun. Explore the worlds of knights, dragons and princesses during this summer camp session. Campers will love the world of make believe as they create their own stories and act them out for their peers.

Under the Sea
July 8-19

For the animal loving camper, this summer camp session explores hands-on activities learning about animals that live in the deep blue sea. Campers will learn about all kinds of underwater life. Join us as we explore underwater plant life and maybe find a sunken treasure.

Young at Art
July 22-August 2

Join us for a summer camp session that explores multiple forms of art and art appreciation! Full of hands-on activities from drawing to painting, group art games, collaborative art projects, and creative sculptures; this session is sure to inspire your mini artist! For both indoor and outdoor experiences centered in paint, craft, dance, sing, and play!

In the Kitchen
August 5-16

Join us for a summer camp session that explores the world of cooking. Campers will use math skills to measure, mix and create delicious treats. Creating their own recipes and trying new ideas is the best part of learning in the kitchen.

Hours

Camp Day: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Before Camp Care: 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. (no additional cost)
After Camp Care: 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. (no additional cost)

Camp Fees & Payment

Deposit: A non-refundable $125 deposit is built into the overall session cost and is due at registration for each session.
Remaining Balance: Due one week before the session begins. See refund policy.
Optional Lunch: Purchase a bagged lunch provided by SAGE from the 91影视 dining hall for $6.50 per day.

Ratios

  • Room 1 has a maximum capacity of 12 children, with a lead teacher and an assistant teacher. The average ratio is 1 adult to 6 campers.
  • Room 2 has a maximum capacity of 1 lead teacher to 6 campers.
  • Room 3 and 4 each have a maximum capacity of 16 children with a lead teacher and an assistant teacher. The average ratio is 1 adult to 10 campers.

Classroom placement is based on child鈥檚 birthday.
