Media Relations

The senior director for university communications & public relations is the University鈥檚 primary contact with media.

If you are contacted by a member of the media, connect with University Communications immediately by contacting, extension 5546, or 443-990-1299.

Event Promotions

If you have an event that is open to the public and you want to promote it through the media, contact University Communications no later than six weeks in advance.

Information needed includes:

  • Name of the Event 
  • Date & Time
  • Location
  • Event Contact Name and Phone Number (that can be published)
  • Purpose of the Event

Crisis Communications

The University has developed communications protocols in the event of a crisis.

Depending on the situation, various communications methods will be used, including:
